- John was Senior Fellow and Chief Product Architect at AMD (Graphics Processor Group, formerly ATI), until June 2013.
- He left to complete a book on a revolutionary new approach to computer arithmetic, “The End of Error: Unum Computing.” That book is now shipping.
- John is also the inventor of POSIT number system that aims at addressing the challenges of the FPU number system, he has been advising Calligo Technologies on implementing POSIT and now assisting them in taking the complete solution to Silicon.

- Theo is the president and CEO of Stillwater Supercomputing, Inc., a differentiated System Integrator for high-performance deep learning and intelligent systems.
- At Stillwater he works closely with hardware OEMs, cloud vendors, and FPGA manufacturers, to create unique solutions to high-value problems by augmenting commodity systems with specialized hardware and software to create sustainable differentiated business value, in particular for complex operations in finance, transportation, pharma, and healthcare.
- Theo brings the industry depth in above industries to help Calligo Technologies ensure that the software applications are carefully chosen and adopted to leverage the best of POSITs.
- His contributions are immense and spread from Development, Pre-silicon and Post-silicon validation and taking the complete solution to production.
